Woodlands is the perfect location for an intimate wedding or other celebration. With the ability to sleep over 40 on the farm, everyone can relax and enjoy the day in perfect comfort, whilst admiring the picturesque setting. We can arrange tipis, a marquee and caterers. We will work with you to create the most perfect wedding or special event possible.

We have four ponies on the farm and from special little Lulu our mini Shetland, to our Welsh Cob Merlin they all love a fuss. Come and join Ruth for a two hour pony experience. Learn how to care for a pony, as if its your own, and at the end we can take Lulu for a walk or maybe have a little ride, weather and experience dependent.

Our three Amigos are packed with personality and lots of fun. From Erebus, who loves children, to Henry who is the boss and Napoleon, who is the cheekiest of the bunch - you cant help fall in love with them all. Come and join Ruth for a 2 hour experience and really get to know their personalities first hand. Learn how to care for them and take them on a walk around their enclosure.

Join Ruth for 2 hours of fun with Zap and Sparky our resident pygmy goats. Lean how to care for them, groom their coats and take them for a little walk around the fields. After that we can set up the goat adventure course and tempt them over the obstacles with their favourite treats. You wont stop laughing at their antics.

Do you have a favourite farm animal? Design your own farm experience with Ruth. Combine animal care with taking some of the animals for a walk around the farm. Spend time with any combination of the animals - walk with Lulu, play with the goats, tickle the pigs tummies or meet the Alpacas, Ruth will design the perfect animal experience for your group.

Bude and the surrounding area has a vibrant art community. Many of the established artists hold workshops throughout the year providing a host of opportunities - from learning how to do watercolours inspired by the sea, to how to work with pottery or learning how to do wood turning. With two kids mad on surfing we know all of the surf schools well and can help advise you on who is the best school or private instructor for your needs - from one on one tuition, adaptive surfing, group lessons or a session for experienced surfers, where the instructor will provide detailed video feedback to help you improve.
