Dog Rules
Guidelines for a great dog holiday
Dogs Welcome at Woodlands - Rules
We welcome dogs at Woodlands Manor Farm. However, to ensure all our guests (dog and human) have the best holiday. Please read and abide by these doggy rules.
The Guidelines
Guests should inform us about bringing a dog when making the reservation, please outline the dog‘s breed, age and temperament.
Deposit: An additional £25 per dog will be required per booking.
Number and Size Restrictions: A maximum number of two dogs per cottage is allowed.
Vaccination and Health Requirements: Guests should ensure that their dogs are up-to-date with vaccinations (preferably) and in good health.
Supervision: Dogs should not be left unattended in the cottage or Yurt unless they are in a crate and the owners are confident they will not cause any damage or disturbance.
Behaviour Expectations: Dogs must always be well-behaved, non-aggressive, and under-control. Excessive barking or any aggressive behaviour is not allowed on the farm.
Leads: As we are a farm and the chickens are free range for all to enjoy please make sure dogs are on a lead AT ALL TIMES around the cottages and drive.
Dogs can run free in the meadow and woods.
We also have sheep/cows on the farm/neighbours farm so please be very careful and keep all safe.
Cleaning Responsibility: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs both inside the cottage, in the surrounding area, and on the playing field.
Furniture and Beds: Dogs should not be allowed on sofas unless owners bring their protective covers. Additional cleaning bills may be asked for if sofas are dirty post a dog‘s stay.
Come prepared: Please bring your dog‘s beds, towels, food & water bowls, blankets and crate, if you forget please do let us know as we will be able to help.
Access all areas: Dogs should not be allowed upstairs or in the Bedrooms.
Noise Consideration: Owners should ensure their dogs do not disturb other guests or neighbours, especially during early mornings or late evenings.
Emergency Contact Information: if you need any veterinary assistance while you are away we will be happy to help. The vet we use is https://tamarvets.co.uk/ (bude branch)
Respect for Property: Guests should ensure that their dog does not cause damage to the property or its belongings.
If damage does occur please report and reimburse.
