What to do at Woodlands Manor Farm, Woodford, Bude

Woodlands Manor Farm has plenty for everyone to do, whatever the weather.

Whether it’s splashing around in the swimming pool, feeding our animals, playing games in the Games Room, or going for a woodland walk, you’ll always find something fun and interesting to do during your stay at our idyllic Bude holiday cottages.

Holiday Cottages with Pool, Bude

If you’re looking for holiday cottages with a pool in Bude, you’ve come to the right place!

Our indoor heated swimming pool is open from 8am-8pm every day and is kept at a constant 31 degrees – perfect for that early morning dip or a late afternoon relax.

We probably have some of the best views in Cornwall from our pool, which overlooks our farmland and also has views of our local village, Kilkhampton.

If you are lucky enough you may spot a red deer grazing in the field next to our woodlands, something that we believe is unique to our holiday cottages.

Games Room

Our games room is located next to the indoor swimming pool and is well equipped with a soft play area, pool table, darts, table tennis, giant connect 4 and table football, and is open to anybody staying in our Bude holiday cottages.

This is the ideal place for those ‘friendly’ family competitions! Parents against children… who will win?

The Animals

Woodlands Manor Farm is a great place for a baby and child-friendly holiday. We have a small menagerie of animals here on the farm which we encourage our guests to meet and help feed during their stay.

Depending on the time of year we have sheep, goats, alpacas, rabbits, pigs, ducks, hens, a Dartmoor pony called Pringle and a horse called Merlin.

Animal Feeding Times

Feeding time is 8.30 AM every Sunday and 8.00 AM every Wednesday. The feeding involves a short walk around the complex, and we do go into a couple of our fields so suitable footwear is recommended. Best to bring wellies to save your lovely shoes.
